I’ve had Reach since release two years ago, and have never once encountered any audio or video problems that weren’t the ordinary glitches that were widespread.
However, recently I’ve been having significant audio issues with the game. When I’m playing the campaign, the sound level fluctuates significantly, and, and it’s worst, multiple sound tracks are transposed over one another creating an extremely convoluted mix.
I have not experienced this issue with any other game on my Xbox, leading me to believe that it isn’t my Xbox’s issue. I’ve checked the game disc, and, beside from small scratches here and there that are normal “wear and tear,” there is nothing clearly damaged. Nonetheless, I wiped the disc with a microfiber cloth, but to no avail.
Reach doesn’t let me manipulate any audio settings directly, and fiddling with the audio on my TV hasn’t solved anything.
Has anyone experienced this? Is there a fix? Is this a problem that is associated with a recent update to the game?
Solutions and explanations would be appreciated.
