Im still relatively new to the forms and I was just wondering why can’t I make a signature. Help a guy out =]
Sigs are only permitted to Admins, Mods, SI, and the rank Spartan.

I thought you just needed 150+ posts for a sig.

Sadly not, due to the abuse signatures can get and are known by many, it was decided to be a perk as sort.

How were people abusing them? Just posting annoy/inappropriate stuff?

That and along with other abuse like using -Yoink!- links or -Yoink!- links to link to normally, censored websites.

Which is quite frankly ridiculous. It should be at least 3001.

It as at least 3001, in fact it’s an additional 3000 
But I do think a lower number would be a bit kinder and I doubt that people that have 3000+ posts would try to abuse the system

Three or four thousand seems reasonable to me!

Issue is that it’s unlocked by rank, not sure about sub ranks. So either ODST - Silver or ODST - Gold, me thinks. But if it can only be unlocked by the main rank, that would still correlate to unlocking it at Spartan - Iron

Couln’t find anywhere to post this, there’s not a help section (that I could see)
Everytime I make a signature it tells me my signature can’t be more than 0 characters.
If that’s true how on earth can I have a signature.

So it’s their poop and they’re entitled to take it. Whatever I just think that’s silly. Thanks for the help.
