Signature Problem

Hi,

I tired to add a signature to my profile but the text box said I have “0 characters” to use. Anyone know what’s up with this?

You need 6001 posts to get signature.

you can’t have a sig until you reach the rank of spartan or become and admin/monitor.

Sort of, but having a sig isn’t really that big of a deal.

Not really, I mean, how is really going to spam 6001 posts, other than spam bots.
It also keeps the number of signatures down to a manageable number for the moderators so you don’t have signatures like this:

It also keeps people from having links to questionable web sites. We use to be able to have signatures, but some people ruined it for everyone else buy doing things like that pointed above.

Iv seen plenty of people spam for it and freely admit to it. It’s not that difficult if you’re dedicated enough.

Yeah, that’s what math did before ranks were added.
