First off, this isn’t a SS discussion forum, this is simply a link to where others can sign a petition to be sent to Microsoft and 343i for having no SS capabilities in Halo 5 guardians.
I for one am quite outraged by the lack of SS capabilities in Halo 5 and will not buy the game because of this nor will I purchase any other 343i product if this trend continues. I’m a huge Halo fan, I have played every Halo game, I still play the first 3 Halo games, I have read all of the books and have purchased every Halo game up until this point on release day but with no SS capabilities I decided to cancel my preorder and not support this company any longer. To me, 343i’s track record hasn’t been great so far and it seems as though they’re going off in a much different direction than what Halo used to be, and in my opinion, not for the better. Anyhow, below is a link to sign a petition for the lack of SS in Halo 5, if you’re as outraged as I am, or any of the almost 10k others that have already signed it, please sign it for yourself so our voices can be heard. I love Halo and have no doubt that if Halo 5 had SS, I’d have purchased an Xbox one as well as the game and would be playing it at this moment. Until then, I will spend my money elsewhere as 343i clearly doesn’t care about its long term fan base.

Leave then, it’s not going to change anything. To implement split screen, they’d need to rewrite the whole engine. These petitions are stupid.
The wording of your title is SERIOUSLY misleading. It makes it sound like the petition is to KEEP split-screen from ever getting added.
I’m ok with no split screen/local co-op. But you can go play a different game like halo 1~4 k by.

thirdly, it’s more the Xbox one’s fault then 343’s that it can’t handle both 60fps and Splitscreen. Because this generation of consoles is actually pretty weak in terms of improvements when considered with other generations.
You know your petition is going to do anythibg right? Also do you have any idea how to code and secondly splitscreen causes the system to work harder to render everything for those screens. Its not magic you know.

Already done, I’d rather play games 1-3 with friends than play against a bunch of pre pubescent teenagers who don’t know how to play the game and that aren’t so intelligent, so enjoy that. K bye

Eh no, 343 could’ve done a lower frame rate to keep it. They decided that 1080p and 60fps was more important. I thought Halo 4 looked great and it still has SS

I’m perfectly fine with getting rid of Split Screen. On Halo 4 it was barely usable anyway.
I actually hope 343i puts SplitScreen back in, just so when it doesn’t work properly, you can make another “petition” about it.
I’m glad split screening is gone… it belonged in previous generations, but this is next gen… I hope other games follow suit.

It’s been done five different times by Bungie and once already by 343i, a division of Microsoft, a multi billion dollar company, I’m sure they have the resources available to make such things happen if they really wanted to

I have known about it for months, go back and look at my posts in the thread about it. It wasn’t until yesterday however that I saw there was a petition for it and wanted to spread the word to others who didn’t know about it
I agree, not having split screen is infuriating. Have you played bad games that ALSO don’t have split screen? It’s really, really annoying.

If you don’t care about it why write your opinion about it on here?
You know it isn’t as easy as clicking a button?
If they were gonna add it it would take a year.
