This has been made on behalf of the user named Apollo Belenus via Bungie.net since he PM’d me claiming an inability to log it. His words were:
> It’s no longer letting me log onto the website - even from the main page to check my stats. I enter my password (And I know it’s right, because it’s the same as on here) and it just reloads the page I was on without logging me in.
>
> And since I can’t get on, I kind of can’t ask for help. I don’t think I was banned, because I would be able to at least see my stats.
Is there any solution I can pass onto him? Thanks.
Guessing they may already have tried this, but my first steps would always be the following:
- Clear the cache/cookies/active logins for any and all browsers in use
- Restart the browser and try again
- Try running the browser with all add-ons or plugins disabled
- Test on a different browser
- Try running the computer in safe mode (I can give help on how to do this if it’s a mac or windows machine)
- If possible, test on another computer
Hopefully some of that will help
I’m getting a feeling of Deja Vu here, that happened to me the other week actually. I couldn’t access my account at all and I thought I had been banned too. I came back a few days later and as you can see it’s working again.
It did the same thing, my account had automatically been signed out so I tried to sign in and it just kept coming up with the same page.
I assumed 343 were doing an update to the site or something since whenever I tried to go on the Forum for a little reading the page was broken for me too.
I’m still not sure what caused it. :I
I can confirm that Apollo Belenus is not banned.
I’m not aware of any specific problems that might be related to this issue, but it may be helpful for both Apollo and Archellik to provide the following information:
What web browser are you using? What version?
What OS are you using?
Additional information I just got.
> Also. When I click on the H4 Stats Page and try logging in through there, it says “Trouble Verifying your Identity. Please Try again” and Error Code ACCF289F-8887-48D0-8B87-01112750556F.

.
I’ll relay your info, Cobb.
> I’ve tried any fixes given and nothing is working still. Tried downloading other Web Browsers and still nothing, meaning it sounds like an account thing.
So he is still having issues with his account despite the suggestions. Anything else he can try?
Has Apollo had any official action taken directly against their Xbox LIVE account? Things like temporary bans from Xbox LIVE can also prevent people from logging into Waypoint.
I just want to thank everyone for their help with this, especially Cobra for updating the thread with information. No idea what was wrong, but I just tried logging in and it’s working.
If something of this nature happens again, please let us know.
