Error encountered while signing into Xbox Live"

Above is the error I receive whenever I press [Enter] at the main menu of MCC on PC.
Below the error are two buttons to either retry or cancel (retrying is pointless as it only results in the same error.)
I’m not entirely sure as to why this is happening, however I have noticed that ClockSkew.json as well as SystemSettingsData.bin are empty files.

Would this be the issue?
If so, please notify me with potential solutions.

Same problem here since 2 day

OK PEOPLE THERE IS ANOTHER SOLUTION
I’ve seen the deleting LocalLow MCC folder, that worked for some
I’ve seen the reinstalling and running the Xbox Companion App in the background, that worked for some
But there is another…
What worked for me was reinstalling Halo: Reach individually on steam.
Right click Halo MCC, choose properties, go to the DLC tab on the top right, uncheck Halo: Reach. I left it like this for a few hours then came back to steam and was prompted for an update. It reinstalled Reach and then after launch it worked perfectly fine!

If you’ve tried everything else, also make sure your OS time and date is set correctly for your location/timezone.
