Uses no skill, timing, or aim. It’s simply a pray-and-spray weapon.
At least with the SMG you need proper spacing to be effective.
And at least with the Storm Rifle, you need to pace yourself else you overheat.
As per Halo Tracker, I’ve used it 31 times to get a kill. I know, shameful.
At the end of my H5 career I’d like to see it last on my weapons used.

At Longe Range the AR isn’t good but for Close range it’s alright. I dont see an issue because somebody with a Pistol can kill you easy in Close range (if the Person who uses the pistiol is good).

Omg stop complaining about things like this. AR is a good close to mid range weapon. In the previous games it was bad and now that is useful people hate it…

What I find truly disgusting is the amount of hatred directed at such a mediocre weapon.

Thats the issue. From close to mid range, pistol and BR can narrowly beat the AR ONLY IF you miss no shots and get a perfect every time. With AR you can miss a third of your mag and still get the kill. Its way too forgiving. It was weak in the older games for a reason.

It is suppose to be effective at short-medium range… If you want to beat an ar with a br, be sure you can aim well, or you will lose the gun fight.
If the people using the AR without skill really suck that bad and only get the kill because of the AR, seems like the person they are killing is the one without the skill. Because if the AR guy really has no skill, then they shouldn’t be killing anyone. Right? Basically what it comes down to is, it doesn’t matter what weapons you use. If you are bad, you’re just bad. All weapons take skill and part of the skill is knowing which weapon is right in each situation.
I bet he gets mowed down by ARs and he rages about it… hahaha

I dont get it, then dont rush arround with a br or pistol and Keep some distance. This game doesnt Need another Nerf disaster like Battlefield 4, where like every gun was nerfed.

It’s too strong at mid ranges. Plain and simple. H3 had it perfect. 343 buffed it in H5 for the people that cant use BR’s.

I think you’re taking this whole video game thing a little to seriously.
I’m ok with the AR with kinetic energy. The others are meh. Personally I like to get/buy the storm rifle over the AR. Don’t know why people hate the storm so much. It’s easy.
I like it.
And now I’m going to wait for the people who don’t like it to tell me I am wrong and my opinion is invalid in some way.
