So I JUST found out Halo was doing Twitch drops and giving away coating and poses for watching live streams.
Why the hell don’t you have a button, tab or announcement page in-game for that?
I don’t care what the pros do, I don’t watch competitive Halo. Its NEVER been my thing. I want to play the game myself not watch someone else play it, but I’d have at least switched a stream on for the rewards… If I’d even known it was going on.
Tangent; I also play OverWatch and since 2016-17? they’ve had a “Esport” tab to direct you to watch the tournaments. Why tf Halo don’t have that?
I hate these stupid Halo branded promotions. I don’t like Mtn. Dew, Rockstar or Nerf. Yet more things chopped out of the game to sell for hundreds of extra bucks. Hell, at least other games have community codes.
Whatever, I missed it, rewards gone.

they’ll have them for each event, just look up the dates of the events then get them Twitch drops.
That only works if I knew about the event beforehand, Twitch doesn’t do playback drops or I’d go watch the tournaments right now. Doesn’t matter anyway, like I said, I hate Pro leagues.
Its just annoying I can’t get this stuff cause the game doesn’t have anything right now and some of these skins looked cool.
My point is that there is a schedule already posted, just so everyone has a way of knowing about it.

You have to link your Waypoint account with Twitch btw.
Yeah, I know now. But, like I said, there should be a button in-game. I’m not prowling Waypoint or Twitter looking for Halo News, especially when they announce bug fixes and changes in-game.
ANYWAY, Rant over. Hindsight is always 20/20.

I too think that having to go to Twitch to get a reward is ridiculous.

The funniest part of this whole Twitch Drop thing is even if you would have heard about the Event, and then jumped through a bunch of hoops to link your Twitch and Waypoint accounts correctly, there was still a chance you wouldn’t even unlock the rewards you claimed for watching the separate streams lol
I only got one of the Drops to unlock in-game, the rest are claimed but still missing.
I’m guessing the HCS Launch weapon and armor skins were probably only available for the launch event itself Dec 17-19th
I totally get not liking Mtn Dew or Rockstar. But Nerf?! How can anyone not like Nerf? What kind of a soulless person are you?

Dont worry about it man, i still havnt got my weapon drops yet and i watched the whole event
