....*sigh*...343

…I seriously keep trying to give H4 a chance and hoping it will get bet over time like with Reach. Reach started on a rocky road but got better over time with updates and playlist changes…you guys have failed to do this…your actually making it worse. Almost all the people on my friends list have switched back to Reach and the ones that haven’t aft to play custom games with major changes just to have fun.

All of your new gametypes and playlist just lead me to believe even farther that Halo 5 will be an even worse train wreck than Halo 4. just look at the the team throwback playlist…whats up with the radar? why did you leave it to were enemy’s dont show up? thats just stupid and ridicules. i know you want the below average players to get kills and have fun but they can still have fun without that crap and all your doing is keeping them from gaining any skill. I knew people back in halo 3 that were horrible but had fun playing the game anyways…why is that? its because it was an incredibly fun HALO game and not some CoD hybrid.

If 343 keeps going in the direction there headed then they will loose all the support from its fans and this will stunt the growth of the halo franchise. If you guys really do listen to your fans then you need to start making some changes quick. I dont remember a day that i haven’t seen less than 5 complaints about H4 every 30 mins in the forums. you didn’t see this happen with Halo 3 on bungie’s forums. In fact it was extremely rare to see any complaints at all…I already know im not buying Halo 5 unless there are drastic changes and I get to play some sort of Beta first. This is also true for most of the friends on my friends list.

So if you guys dont want see halo go up in flames then 343 needs to open its hear and start making some changes.

> mlg/hardcore playlists usually don’t have radar they didn’t in halo reach or your beloved halo 3 and team throwdown is obviously based off of those playlists or atleast similar to them. If u don’t like halo 4 then play halo 3/reach or w.e you want yeah your opinion counts but if you don’t like halo 4 don’t play it and complain about it just play a game you do like especially if most of your friends went back to playing halo reach lol.

yes. i know mlg has no radar with team based games and it never will. it swaps skill for strategy and I agree with this. to see who is the best team you need to remove radar which forces call outs to the rest of the team so that they will know the enemy positions. they simply cant really on skill, they need their team mates to help. what your failing to see and 343 is that most people play solo or dont have full teams. there is no need to remove the radar in these playlist because it creates unfair advantages … budgie understood this…but apparently 343 doesnt or they simple love unfair advantages because it gives the lesser skilled a chance at actually getting kills.

Sorry but Reach failed even after significant changes. IMO it just never felt like Halo , and I gave it many chances. The fail of Reach actually started the mass exodus that we are continuing to see.

The only way I see to make Halo a success again is to remove what started it on a downward spiral in the first place. All equipment and it’s eventual evolution into AAs.

sigh… another rant thread about how ‘bad’ this game is but not contributing one serious bit of constructive criticism. The only reasonable thing I got out of that is that you would like to see radars showing enemy positions in Team Throwdown.

Have you posted that in the Team Throwdown feedback topic in the Wargames forum?

This topic will probably get locked for not being a constructive post, as it’s pretty much just a rant.

Couldn’t agree more

Sigh You’re so naive. Halo 4 is not a bad game. You didn’t provide any good reason on Halo 4 is going downhill. Sure some gametypes are missing but they’ll add them back eventually. And what’s wrong with Team Throwback? What there’s soemthing wrong with the radar? But thats just it. You didn’t provide any other good reason on why its bad. And its not a COD Hybrid.

And im complaining just like half the halo population is because we want halo back. If we dont say anything then halo will only get worst. A CoD fan boy has no right to tell me what i can and cant do.

never said reach was a good game. they just made it playable. i still dont like it but its 10x better than Halo 4

LOL WHAT? There’s nothing skillful about the radar. You’re right that it’s removed to make teamwork a more critical aspect, but it in no way decreases the skill level of the game.

The OP must be trolling. It took Reach a year to get a TU and it had monthly playlist updates. Halo 4 has had two TU’s in the four months its been out and has weekly playlists updates.

I wouldn’t call them title updates. Minor patches, maybe, but we’ve yet to have a title update.

Call it what ever you want but Halo 4 is getting updated faster than Bungie’s games, ESPECIALLY Reach.

meh, he actually has a point. Bungie removed AAs from certain playlists when they realized how gamebreaking they were, such as Drop Shield from Oddball and Armor Lock from Doubles. The only thing that separates the two is that Halo 4 had more serious issues that needed addressing, such as weapon spawns.

Also, Reach kinda gets a break as it was an awkward transitional stage where rights were being handed over to 343. H2’s and H3’s title updates came out roughly 4-5 months after release.

well than you need to talk SV naded and tango 49(FYI…there both pros)

they both say the same thing i did. if you think radar takes no skill than you clearly haven’t played enough halo

The playlist and updates arnet improving the game

Then your Reach argument is invalid, considering playlist updates were the only things Bungie did post launch.

I’m done. GG Halo.

Thank you. That’s what I was saying.

I apologize. Was not expecting that level of reasoning.
