this is a classic staple of the halo series and it would be pretty disappointing if it did not get in. but this song is from marathon (i think) and that is bungie property… i hope this egg gets in
That was kinda a Bungie thing…Marathon is their game. Nevertheless, it would be nice.
I really don’t think it’ll be in any future Halo games, that was Bungie’s thing, plus like you said, it’s Bungie’s property, the marathon symbol was removed from Halo CEA, so I have good reason to believe that any Bungie related thing that isn’t owned by Microsoft, will not show up in future games.

I remember seeing the marathon symbol on the knights if I remember correctly, so you never know.
It was in Bungie’s game Myth, and I would like to see it reference because its a great tune, but its not likely.
