Im so tired of playing really sweaty matches. I would reaply prefer random matchmaking and not have to constantly grind super hard for the W and be pushed towards 50% win loss

Unless you are playing ranked or need a challenge complete why are you even concerned with winning? There’s no incentive to win at all. I’ll take some L’s for a while if it drops me in with easier opponents, that way the challenges are easier to complete.

I’ve seen 360’s but I have yet to see a 360 No Scope in Halo Infinite…
Try playing BTB games. Something I figured out years ago is that the more players are participating in matches, the less serious I have to be while still contributing to the over all game. It’s much easier to relax when you know you have a lot more teammates behind you.
If you want truly casual matches though, you’re going to want 343i to get the Custom Server Browser up as soon as possible. You’ll never get anything close to similar in a matchmaking type set up as you would with custom server browser.

What’s really frustrating is if you’ve used an xp boost and then get stuck with no wins.

Well that only matters if your challenges are for winning matches - apart from that it makes no difference to your xp gains.

Well that’s your problem. The game actively works against your challenges by making it harder for you to complete them.
Do you have a challenge to get kills with the rocket launcher? Every map with rocket launcher spawns will now give you the cindershot spawn instead. Want to try to get it playing Fiesta? Be prepared to die 100 times before you spawn with a rocket launcher.
Do you have a challenge to get wins? The matchmaking system will make sure that your opponents are all much better than your teammates.

double xp is best used in vs bot matches. Can easily get 1500 bonus exp if you use one at the start of each day, so that the new day bonuses stack ontop of them. 300xp first day match is now 600xp, 200xp second and third matches are now 400xp each, and the last three 100xp 4th, 5th, and 6yth matches are now 200xp each.
You do vs Bot matches, because they’re almost always over in 5 minutes, meaning you can get more matches in before the effects of the double exp wears off.

Youre not wrong here. BTB is great and feels less sweaty. But my challenges force me to play specific gamemodes in a specific way. (“Win team slayer matches”)
Playing btb wont fix that…

I know i miss reach, h4, even h5 felt less sweaty than this and h5 was pretty competitive

A big problem with Halo Infinite is the lack of ranked playlists. What else are the “pros” supposed to play?
I understand not wanting to sweat. But if youre trying to get wins a 50% win rate should get you there faster more consistently. Maybe you’ll get lucky and stomp some noobs a few games in a row but you could also be the noob getting stomped if there wasnt SBMM. It also depends on how good you are if youre Onyx then I can see why you want it. If youre Gold it will hurt you more than it helps
I don’t care that they want to play Fiesta, I just don’t get why the game assumes my MMR and theirs are close enough to match just because 95% of other players in this game can’t even breathe and tie their shoes at the same time.
I’m really the best match their system can find to give the pros a challenge? I’m not even good by my own standards, let alone theirs. This game is designed so out of whack

I’m not disagreeing. The matchmaking in Halo Infinite is completely scuffed. It’s one of the primary reasons most of my friends don’t play anymore.
