how many times have I gone to warzone and joined a a game where we’re all pinned down by banshees and phaetons. This sucks. Make it so you can only join a new game.
I feel your pain man, but at the same time I see the point of JIP games very early on when people get lagged out during loading and stuff, but it feels bad man when you come into an obvious slaughter. lol
I just try to make the most of it and sit back to steal some free kills until the beating is over with.
It sucks, yeah. But we’ve been asking for a join in progress since Halo 2.
Just hopefully they’ll figure something out for Halo 6 where the game can be recognized as almost over or a team getting dominated. Who knows. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Ranked Arena does not have JIP… 
As much as I hate being thrown into the fray, my best advice is to hold out as long as you can until the inevitable comes. Whip out your most powerful defensive weapon and try to take as many people with you. Turrets and Gravity Hammers (especially the Grinder) work very well in my opinion.

True, but you might short your controller out from all the sweat. lol
Go in with a fireteam of at least 3, that will really lower the chances of joining a doomed game.
That’s true but it has taught me that win ratio is not important, at least I get a few hundred RP lol

Well ok, but I would have liked to used my XP boost at least.
Hopefully the system in 6 is much better and can recognize matches that are either blowouts or almost over.
