Sick of dying as soon as you call in your REQ?

Don’t spawn with it.

Spawn, travel to your nearest secure base, and then call in the REQ from inside the base.

Now, you have a laser or rocket launcher or sniper rifle or whatever you just called in, and you’re surrounded by four walls, three marines, and probably a few teammates.

If you die within 10 seconds, it’s your own fault for charging headlong out of your secure area or not realizing that your base was under siege when you arrived.

Fancy expensive REQs aren’t meant for random spawns around the map. They’re meant for controlled call-in from the safety of your base.

Think before you complain.

My only problem with the req systems is that I’ve been assassinated while in the req screen and I’ve killed people while they are using the req station.

I’m pretty sure OP covered that in the “realizing your base is under siege” bit…

I usually spawn in the home base if I grab a laser or sniper, problem solved.

This is funny because it never occurred to me to do this. I don’t think I ever complained about it.

Usually i’ve always spawned at home base or I had to get it from the REQ station because the base was in danger from an enemy vehicle. I usually use the after-death REQ system for loadout weapons and armor mods.

This is exactly what I do, I hardly ever use the Req Stations in base because Grenade and Melee deaths are usually the outcome of using them.

I got reqs and I spawn at the bases and then suddenly someone with a sniper shooting as soon as I come out

I only use only Banshees in req, nothing else is really good enough for me not to sell.

The call-in process isn’t the problem as much as it is actually trying to use the REQs on anything other than players. I can’t traverse to an AI boss without getting sniped by a BR that wouldn’t let me mind my own business, regardless of whether I’m on foot or in a vehicle. And god forbid I peek outside when everyone whips out their snipers and beam rifles because apparently I’m the only one in the base containing 7 spartans with a bullseye on his helmet. I don’t even have that helmet REQ!

Not to mention, while it’s understandable that the weapons despawns at light speed to prevent enemies from taking them, they’re usually where you died because they snuck up from behind, so the idea behind the despawn timer is extremely situational.

Ehh it doesn’t matter. I’ll die after getting REQs because I become unusually aggressive. I know it’s my own fault. I just wish that weapons wouldn’t disappear so quickly.

good sugestion!

i hated the game when I chose to call in NORNFANG on raid on apex 7…

and…

I got spawned in front of tankmaster rok.

and i died.

and lost NORNFANG

Spawned at the spire with Rocket Pods as Warder Eternal was coming up… Spawned in front of Spire in the open, basically where Warden spawns running through the open with Rocket Pods is not possible … Battle Rifle to the face GG
