Why no objective only playlists? So sick of having to play Arena with its pathetic lack of variety. So many good maps exist and they don’t get used in arena. So many objective game types are possible… but no, we can’t play them. Halo deserves to continue to go down and 343 is awful
I agree it stupid its layer only… but that doesn’t mean halo deserves to go down. 343 made it about 5 years ago and frankly it’s been like that since then, I remember game types were released after the game came out. 343 did mess up in my opinion but hey, they learned from this mistake. They are aware of complaints. All I can say is play other Halos or just play customs. If its not something you want then complaining won’t get you anywhere. Its simply unfortunate that this is how Halo 5 is for some of us. I am on board that Halo 5 gets repetitive super fast, so fast that I grinded for an hour to get to SR 152 and I’m barley SR 95 I gave up. So yeah it ain’t worth it in my opinion. I do hope Halo 5 is updated or something to make SR 152 more pleasant to get to… All we can do is give feedback and hope they take that feedback and make Infinite the best game that they make throughout the entire series.
Honestly, I have not have much luck with match-made objective games in any Halo. Most players (in my experience) either ignore the objective or suck at it, and if the game is not over in minutes than it devolves into Slayer.
Objective games seem to work best in customs with a full compliment of friends. Right, wrong, or indifferent.
Honestly, if I ruled the world all playlists would be based around party size and not gametype; objectives would be rotated in with slayer at some appropriate rate. Or, go the Breakout route and meld objective and slayer together.

I’d live in that world!
I’ve been playing roaming king and my teammates’ scores are usually in the single digits because they’re going for kills instead of the objective.

You do have a point
I have to agree with this, like I don’t mind Slayer, but Objective modes is very hard to come buy in Halo 5
