So i know everyone is upset about the armor but i spent the better part of an hour mixing and matching looking for some cool combinations
so far i have found
Recon Helmet and Fotus Armor
Recon Helmet and Tracer Armor
Protector Helmet and Warrior Armor
Warmaster Helmet and Recruit Charred Armor
If you have these try them out and see if you like them!
Protector Helmet and Warrior armor looks really cool. Warrior armor generally looks good with anything IMO, it’s one of the better armor sets in this game and Halo 4
Some other good armor combos are:

Anubis Helmet and Mako Armor
Protector Helmet and Hellcat Armor

i really like the Mako Cthonic helmet but dont really like the armor. i wish it went with more armor
the recluse armor looks really good with the hellcat helmet
I think goblin dokabbei looks pretty cool
one of my favourite sets to run is the teishen armor and teishen helmet
im curently using the scout observer set which i find looks sleek and the way the observer variant looks is the nicest scout imo
2 other favouites is the teishen armor with the recon helmet or war master helmet
also if you can get lucky like my self the venator helmet and amor is always a badass set
and obviously the classic mark VI set

EVA helmet and Infiltrator armor.

is that Recon helmet and warrior?
I’m currently rocking Mk VI [Gen1] with the CIO Armor. It’s the closest I could get it to my Halo 4 armor. I think it works really well, but I wish I had Mk VI, so the colors were uniform.

Try this combo if you want a non-gundam looking spartan that keeps close to traditional design:
Mark IV Regent helmet (ledgendary)
Defender Armor (Rare)
Dynasty Visor (Rare) with brightness turned up all the way.
I use steel and golden yellow for the primary and secondary colors.
If you wanna make another cool looking one that has a WWII era vibe try:
Mako Helmet (Cathonic variant rare)
Recruit Charred variant (common!)
combined these have shark teeth decals, and flames and skulls!
Helioskrill body and Copperhead helmet looks pretty nice, it’s what I’m wearing.
I also sported the Hellcat body with Helljumper Helmet.
I like a sleek look.
Idk I still really like my Nightfall set.
I personally use Recluse Seri armor with Freebooter helmet. And Midnight visor, of course.
Looks pretty awesome to me. It’s exactly the set I wanted, so I feel fairly lucky I already REQ’ed all the parts.
I can’t wait to get my Enforcer Helmet; then I probably will use warrior armor.
