If they get shot, sprint to cover, that’s it. They got to cover. This “should have died” so you can have your precious kill is BS.
SPRINT after them. THRUST after them.
And if they successfully bait and switch you, well, it’s not them who sucks.
Sprinting is strategic. What are we supposed to do, continue looking down the barrel of your gun when we KNOW it would be certain death? Just feed you points?

I agree with OP. I too find sprint to be very strategic. Yeah, I hate that people run away from me when I could have killed them, but at the same time I love that I can find cover quickly if I need it.
Halo has always been about good use of cover/environment and ensuring you have an escape plan if needed…sprint just means you can position yourself slightly further away from safety to attack…but only slightly. Team shooting will still reck you.
