I feel like I’m entitled to something from someone for no apparent reason and, -Yoink- it, I’m going to be heard! 343 Industries has ruined my life because as far as the greater community and the World at large are concerned, sitting around playing The Haloes all day is my life. The new armor isn’t perfect enough (especially not “Perfect Armor”), and Bungie was so much better (except for when they ruined Halo with Halo 3 & Reach), and Anniversary was a rip off of Halo CE, and ODST is the only good Halo game except for when it sucked up until Halo 4 was released. In fact, as I recall, every new Halo games sucks until the next one comes out and then the former becomes the best. I think. Point is: Halo sucks and 343 Industries owes me something for some reason. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to play some more Haloes only to return and complain about it.

If you buy DLC, you should expect to be able to play it somewhat regularly.

Haha, fair point. They have screwed up there
Ignore my part about the DLC, I wasn’t thinking. We absolutely should be seeing the DLC maps come up, what I mean to say is that they are not obliged to make changes to the game like add feature X, remove feature Y.
Many people on this board seem to think that 343 is somehow stealing from them by not fulfilling their every demand. Other than game breaking bugs (BUGS, not features like sprint etc.), we buy the game as it is, whilst further development from 343 is appreciated, may people seem to think they deserve it because they gave 343 $40 8 months ago.

Anniversary was supposed to be the exact same thing as Halo CE, just with better graphics. It was an Xbox game remade for 360. I enjoyed it because I did not have an original Xbox, and thus didn’t play CE.
Please don’t. This kind of pointless criticism is exactly what makes the forums so frustrating to read.

> Well, yeah. But people shouldn’t be forced to buy DLC either.
I’m just going to quote a previous post I made on this topic cause I don’t want to retype five paragraphs.
> Frank O’Connor addressed the topic on an old Bungie Podcast I was listening to - I think it was for the Legendary Map Pack (Avalanche, Lockout, etc.) They were discussing how some playlists, like Weekly Double XP, and Frank essentially said (Not word for word)

> “There comes a time when you have to look at the majority/minority split. If most of the community is purchasing these maps, but they aren’t seeing them routinely in Matchmaking, that’s a problem.”
>
> And he has a point. If you’re buying these extras for the game, you should be able to play them as you wish. It’s sucky, yeah, but these players are paying premium for new maps. So, if the majority of players were to have Majestic, but on average only see one of those maps pop up 1/10 searches (With even less times being played), something needs to be done.
>
> It’s a no win situation though. We can’t have one DLC playlist because each Map Pack is optimized for different player numbers. Majestic was 2-4, Pitfall/Vertigo are probably 4-6, Castle/Crimson were closer to 6-8. Splitting into two DLC playlists, which usually have the lowest population because players don’t want to have to go to a separate playlist for the maps, won’t work because the numbers will be far too low to sustain.
>
> Yes, it sucks that not everyone will be able to play every playlist if they were to go the route of making some playlists DLC mandatory. Perhaps 343 should make one playlist Double Credit every weekend and have that as the one? Who knows, but it’s not like the DLC is extremely expensive. You want players to get it, you can’t keep allowing for it to be optional and not giving incentive for it. Why would a new player buy the DLC if they don’t see it ever?

You can’t be that stupid. That was my point exactly. I was sick of hearing it so I used the power of sarcasm to make a point. I’ve never played a Halo game I didn’t like.
Ahhh I see what you did there MrMartin…But yes unfortunately that’s what some people sound like now a days. It isn’t just Halo. Its CoD, Battlefield, Gears of War and any other big franchise you see out there. Truth is, you can never make everyone happy and these people will not stop crying until a Halo community civil war break out.
> “Anniversary was a rip off of CE”

> Yeah, no s*** OP, it’s called a remake for a reason -.-
Pretty sure he’s trolling. His whole post seems really sarcastic. Just ignore it.
@OP You realize you aren’t helping anything with this thread? Whether you’re serious or not, this thread really has no purpose. It’s not going to change anything.
The part about the community hating the newest Halo game is so true it’s insane.
In fact, I think Halo 3 might have been the most hated / bashed halo ever when it was new.
It’s just how people are. This is not just Halo, it’s life.
I actually remember talking to my friend when Halo 3 was released and laughing. I said, ‘quote me, when Halo 4 is released it will be HORRIBLE compared to the superior / best ever Halo 3’ and he just chuckled.
PS: That OP was so obviously sarcastic that it hurts. I understand typing can be hard to tell at times, but come on people! (: LoL.

OP it amazes me that people have actually taken this seriously. Best laugh I’ve had from these forums in a while. Thnaks.
