splitscreen? cant due to console limitations. campaign theater? we never had it in the first place nor do we need it. file share/browser? we’re getting it in the next update. do your research first. medals post game? available for easy access on waypoint. In game screenshots/clips? just use your xbox its not that hard and you can send the clips to friends. classic gameplay? its not halo 2 anymore stop living in the past. classic gametypes? we will be getting them with future updates. Emblem color? seriously do you have anything more lame to complain about? social playlists? again you didnt even read what we’re getting in the next update. armor rewards? yes because i totally manna kill 500 mongooses to get that special helmet nobody else has. firefight? build enough of a backing and present your cause to 343 and you might get it. spartan ops? its literally half of what warzone is. active roster? we already have it. challenges? yes because i totally want to feel forced into arena and try to pull off a double snipe to get 750 free req points. spartan company integration? why dont we just rename the game call of duty: halo edition while we’re at it

Actually, there were a few games that did have it in the first place: Halo 3 (2007), Halo 3: ODST (2009), and Halo: Reach (2010). Modders got it to work in Halo 4, even after 343i’s piss poor attempt to explain why “it wasn’t possible.”

If rumors are to be believed, the File Sharing system will only be a shell of what it should be. I guess we’ll have to wait for updates to improve the updates right?

That’s right. 343i should just abandon certain parts of Halo gameplay that made Halo great just for the sake of change, even if it’s for the worst.

That’s the problem, they weren’t included in the game at launch and now we have to wait for them to slowly be added overtime in “free updates.”

There was a time when all of these gametypes were included in Halo games at launch, but I guess I should stop living in the past right? To make way for an era where games are released in an incomplete state and will be completed through updates and DLC?

Yeah, lets just let 343i continue to degrade customization options in Halo. Nobody cares about customization anyway, amirite?

Couldn’t have said it better myself. To hell with people who actually like to earn things in games by completing in-game challenges rather than waiting to get lucky with RNG microtransaction packs. To hell with that annoying sense of accomplishment.

Don’t make me laugh. Firefight is long gone no matter how much people ask 343i for it.

I agree with moat of what you said. I would like to see them do something with the sparten companies though As for the split they have said that they couldnt manage to get the most out of the graphically that they wanted and have split screen with the restrictions from the hardware which seeing as the 60 fps affects everyone and split screen only affects a smaller portion of players then dosent it make sense not to have it?

It really can’t, though. Both the original Xbox and the Xbox 360 were considered to be on the higher-end for their time. In comparison, the Xbox One has (roughly) the power of a midrange PC… From 2013. Same with the PS4, though a bit better.

There’s really only so much they can do, there. And it’s only going to get worse. So really, they either had to scale the bar back to accomodate it (Yeah, that would have gone over well with the media) or they could have just removed it. Blame all of those news articles praising 1080p 60fps like it’s god’s gift to gaming.

Does Emptyvoid hate H5 so much there’s nothing in him but an empty void? I think he changed his gamertag after he played the game.

While I’m aware the PS4 and Xbone are pretty bad when it comes to hardware, it still doesn’t explain how was the MCC able to easily handle split-screen with H2A in both the campaign and in multiplayer/custom games/Forge.

Sure, performance is sacrificed when you utilize the feature. But that has always been the case with split-screen for any game for any console generation. That doesn’t mean it should just then be stripped away for good.
