Kodiaks and seige are powerful and very difficult to counter. Banished have little to counter themselve but they cant build seige themselves and Blisterbacks are garbage compared to Kodiaks and though they can fly, air is overall weak. That leaves the Banished to Shrouds but they die still too easily by marines, heroes, and AA. Even worse, they are frontline units because their radius is too small block off the area too seige support. A direct engagement will leave them dead and as you are retreating, you are getting fired apon by two bases and Kodiaks and will have little left to fight back. I suggest buffing their health or debuffing at least seige with accumulating costs or debuff damage for both. Even mass Banshees will have little result from marines and AA which almost completely destroyes ground and air.
I wouldn’t say Blisterbacks are garbage to Kodiaks, just more expensive to get and to tech to.
That said I don’t know what to do about Shrouds. Four or so will protect your army while it marches on to the Kodiaks/Siege Turrets but once you engage they fall very easily. It’s a tough spot.

I’d agree that shrouds could use a health boost.
I’ve only found them useful for dealing with siege turrets/kodiaks, or getting lucky that your enemy doesn’t have any detect units.
I have to say this is easily 100% False.
I beat a hardcore Kodiak Wolverine with Nightingale Anders with 5 Shrouds, 3 Engineers and a bunch of Marauders and Reavers with Colony.
It works very well. Micro the Shroud ability and some of your army wont get hit, but the other bit that does just use the Engineer ability.
I was able to slowly push up successfully on the Anders (This was in 1s) and win. (I did have a Vet 3 Hunter Captain aswell which was very tanky)
I would say shrouds could use a population decrease they are super expensive in the population department. I think they are 5 pop. I’d decrease them to 4.
And Blisterbacks are an awesome unit that can attack anti air from the ground or attack hogs and tanks from the air.
I think there population cost is also expensive at 7.
like to see them at 6.

I think shrouds are already at 4 pop and Blister backs are already at 6 pop. I still think they could be made either cheaper or less pop though.

I highly disagree with your opinion on shrouds. 2-3 shrouds render artillery nearly useless, they zap every shell out of the air. They are most useful for this purpose, and paired with air units to protect against AA. Their cloak ability is nice, perhaps a slightly larger range would be good, but overall I don’t think they need much. They are support units and don’t draw much aggro (assuming they aren’t your only air unit) so I find they tend to last through engagements better than expected. You should always have engineers with them.
I’m a shipmaster player, and at first I had trouble figuring out how to make the shroud feel good, but lately it has been my favorite unit to mix into armies just for its versatility. Its cloak alone can really help a battle as long as you pay attention to where the detection units are. The shroud really excels in armies that aren’t about hard engaging/getting super up close and personal.
I wouldn’t say blisterbacks are garbage. At some point they become your best anti-infantry tool. Just 3-4 blisterbacks can level a USNC base pretty quick, much faster than kodiaks.
Here is the difference between USNC and Banished…
Both have siege late game, but only Banished have the ability to defend against siege via shrouds.
