I am convinced that we shoudl steer the new meta towards the beautiful and ever helpful banished shroud. You know it. It shrouds units in cloaking and pinpoint artillery shell disposal.
The shroud deserves it, and you know it. All these artillery hills, mass air swarms, flamethrower balls, hoghordes and full pop heavy vehicle drops behind the main need to make place for full pop shrouds.
Full pop shrouds.
They need to be ever present. Give even the UNSC some love, some shrouds. The shrouds is a love machine. A lover, not a fighter(jet).
I propose we lower the pop cost to 1, one for each grunt squad. Furthermore an increase to 2 in the amount of artillery shells stopped, build speed decreased to 8 seconds and a speed buff, because the enemy often gas more artillery than I have shrouds.
But to truly gib the shroud the place it truly deserves in the meta, front and center, I believe it should have chaff against AA. Then it can support air forces too.
As for the nightinggale: yoink nightinggales, they ugly pieces of yoink nobody loves themnand they can’t save anyone, not even your loved ones.

I was on the wave before the ocean was formed. Now everyone wants to surf through the storm.
While Shrouds are very strong against Kodiaks and seige, they are limited when against large amounts of Kodiaks and seige but still not bad without building too much where you cant push. The problem with Shroubs is infantry, AA, and heroes are too effective at killing them that banished still fall in line vs UNSC. increasing health or AA revert is required. Even with revert, I think they still need more health as they are frontline support units or increase the range they block shells would be a must.
No wonder why Nightingales are so grumpy the Shrouds are like the popular dude at school.
I know right? I think shrouds are pretty cool wih their chrome finish, their advanced thingy dangly majingies, and lasers.
That said, Shrouds, and support vehicles in general, could be a lot cooler I think. Maybe give the nightingale some more utilities too next to multiple heal and smoke drops. Like a phoenix missile strapped underneath with some rope.
I really like the support aspect to suppprt units, its like another layer to the game. That’s why I love banished: you have to think how to build underneath you troops, another layer of the mix. It’s all about winning tips.
PS, I really hate how AA has detect. If just AA got its detect removed then I’d dare say it would make banished more viable.

Thing about that is AA has radar but I agree; Scouts, Snipers or Rangers, and support units should be able to detect cloak. I always have like 10-12 pop AA because they are OP vs air while serving as a solid cloak counter. When playing Blitz, cloaking is more powerful and Scouts don’t detect cloak. Quite odd but this is what I think.
