Shrinking achievements percentage?

Ok guys so last night me and my best friend and clan leader got the hardest achievement in all of halo, prison break. Only .41% of halo 5 gamers got this achievement. So if we keep getting more players does the percentage of players who get achievements decrease because they are new and haven’t got it or does it stay the same?

Well if math works how math should work then I’d assume it would shrink

If more players get the achievement the number should go up. For example and simple math let’s say there is 100 Halo 5 players. Let’s say 25 of them get a certain achievement, that would be 25% of the players. So if say 5 more get that same achievement then 30 of 100 have it or 30% of them. But yes as more people play H5 the percentage of players who got achievements will go down. So if 25 out of 100 have a certain achievement but then say 50 more people log into Halo 5 then 25 out of 150 have the achievement or 37.5%.

If more users earn the achievement the number will go up. However I think the ratio of new players buying the game to players earning the achievement will favor the former meaning the number will go down with time. That being said I don’t have any actual numbers it’s just my speculation.

I see the numbers going down. Plenty will log into the game increasing the number of players but because of these yoinking server side achievements most don’t bother with achievements. I was an avid achievement Hunter but as many times as you had to repeat them or wait for them to unlock it became not worth it. Myself and another player completed swords of Sanghelios three times going for completing it on heroic or higher both in mantis and never got the achievement. It’s really hella lame. And don’t get me started on how many times I had to do some of the MCC achievements. I HATE server side achievements.

Ok thank you. And I did do that achievements as well with my friend and got it on the first try. The only reason we had to revert to checkpoint is because his mantis got stuck in a hole.
