We want to know our pings. Not a stupid green bar. Knowing my ping is KEY to winning. It makes a huge difference. I live in the UK so I don’t usually have a graet ping. After I get a headshot on someone I have to wait a long time for it to register. When 343i implements the custom game browser they need to show us the pings on the game just like in other games such as this. I would rather join a boring game with a ping of 10 than a good game with a ping of 200.
The problem here is that the green bar thing is just annoying. It doesn’t mean anything to us. It is void of meaning. How about this: instead of showing score, just show a green colour if you’re winnign and red if you’re loosing. Stupid, isn’t it? That’s exactly the same as what they did with pings in Reach. Instead of showing them, they show us a meaningless green/red bar.
It ends here. Give us our pings. It’s crazy how important pings are in an FPS. I think most people would be shocked at how much better they are with a lower ping.
