After all the hate I’ve read, I want to show some love.
I really can’t comment much on the online multiplayer as I don’t have much experience in that area so not much to compare it to. But what I have played in Halo 4 I’ve enjoyed so far.
But for me, love the campaign!! Great story, fills in a lot about the Forerunners, about Chief and what he’s really about and been through, his relationship with Cortana, what the UNSC is up to, it’s just a fantastic campaign for me. Going to try a run through on heroic and suspect I will die a lot 
Really enjoying Spartan Ops aswell. Started off slow but really picking up pace with the chapters more closely linked to the cinematics at the beginning and the story beginning to develop.
On a side note, is it me or does it appear there was another level between 7 & 8 that was removed?
Overall, great first effort by 343i in my view.
Like you CTID1981 I don’t play that many multiplayer games, just Halo.
Glad you like Halo 4 as I do I see it as a Story as well as a “run about shooting” game.
Go for the Campaign on Legendary as I have never managed Halo 3 but find Halo 4 a bit easier to get through. My tip is don’t always fight the enemy but try and find another way past them. Look for tunnels or alternative paths to your goal.

On the missing chapter you think might be missing. Is this not what Spartan Ops is providing? Just a thought.

Thats a really good tip Seems to work in the hard parts of the campaign for me 
Also, patience is very important

Thank you, that’s very kind. I might do that as I’d like to complete it on Legendary but know I’m no where near good enough to do that on my own lol Tried a Episode 1 Chapter 3 on legendary and died 20 odd times
I actually meant chapter 6 & 7 (can’t count this morning) When you arrive at Installation 03, Cortana says something like “that station is not going to save itself” then the next cut scene is Chief killing an elite inside the ship. I just wonder if there was a level connecting the 2. Probably not but it just felt like it.

New challenges today so should see which mission is giving XP and go for that one if you want as a start.
