Hi guys, the name is Shawn, but to a good 99.99999% of you, I’m more commonly referred to as Rune. Now, its no surprise that Halo has been a good game to us. Why you ask? Well, lets face it: if it wasn’t true, I’m sure that the millions of dollars invested into it by Microsoft, or the fact that the players at large still play or talk about it show that we love it despite the opinions of others and the flaws that it has. Now to be fair, these forums are used CONSTANTLY, and its hard to moderate properly when you have more and more of the same thing popping up complaining about one idle thing after the next. Things such as the DMR being too powerful, or the game being pathetic, or how the game looking terrible compared to Reach or 3.
I get it, and am pretty sure a good number of others have seen this message too. But does every person have to say the same -Yoink- message, over and over again, thinking that something is going to change if enough people post it time and time again? That is like a million people trying to write to scientists about making pigs fly and then expect it to actually happen overnight, (Unless you have them fly express). Its not going to happen because these fixes happen over time, and last I checked, its only been six months since the game’s release.
Don’t get me wrong, Halo has a lot of untapped potential that could easily put it back into a GOTY award position, and that’s why I love to use the forums: to post these ideas. To show that our ideas might be noticed and ultimately used by 343 to make Halo a much better title. But until then, show some class already and start posting ideas instead of opinions.

I have not contradicted myself in any way shape or form. A moderator’s job is to make sure that they keep the forums clean by either removing or locking inappropriate threads. By this point, a lot of what players post is considered to be spamming, because instead of consolidating the one message into one post and have a lot of attention drawn to it, we have user’s makes 1000 of the same message. I’m only saying the forum needs a little cleaning up.
Its not like I am saying halo is a perfect flawless game and that nothing needs to be changed or I wouldn’t have a need to be here.

Don’t mention it SB, apparently common decency or class has all but went out the window when every other online bigot out there hits the scene. Its easy to hide behind a keyboard to write insults, and that’s not what I am all about. I’m sure you and a good number of others are the same, though the number is overshadowed by jerks like this guy.

Yeah. Certainly. Halo 4 and games in general would be so much more enjoyable if people were friendly and decent.
