Being that Halo 4 is bashed just about as much as Halo Reach, I ask our great community what game do we hate more… Halo 4 or Halo Reach? And Why? Sure, we all know that the Halo Community still has a virtual -Yoink- on for Halo 3 but this is about 343’s first attempt and Bungie’s Final Attempt at the Halo franchise so please limit your responses to either Reach or Halo 4.
Halo 4.
Ah snap, here comes the Reach defense force.
Reach, it was still mostly an arena shooter not full on classed based. But both of them are bad, id rather play 3 or 2 again.
Halo 4 is a far superior game in every aspect, and my favorite Halo game.
The people who “hate” this game obviously had a bad day on matchmaking or just happen to suck online. Funny how they keep playing a game they “hate” instead of playing their beloved Halo 3 or Reach.
Umm, I plead the fifth.
Halo 4. Despite the flaws, I think I believe it to be up to par with Halo 3. But will never surpass it, though.
I suck online and still think halo 4 is great

I don’t hate 4. I hate that it’s broken. It’s like watching a piece of fine china fall to the floor. It’s upsetting. I also have been trying my darndest to spend a lot of time on Reach the last few weeks (which I have been successful at). The one time I played 4 in quite a long time was only due to the fact that my friend insists on playing 4 and I couldn’t persuade him to play Reach one day.
Halo 4. I enjoyed Reach but it wasn’t as fun as Halo 3. Halo 4 is a great in between.
Reach has a local only search filter and that makes it automatically better then Halo 4.
Halo 3 was the best nothing has beat it yet.
In saying that I believe that Halo 4 is very limited within the forge aspect of the game, there is no blank canvas and all items you can place on a premade map is limited. There are no premade structures. Therefore in a lack of custom game activity which I do not like.
In saying that I think Halo Reach is the better atm because Halo 4 will never have the same custom game experience as Halo Reach… Ever.

>Hates the game
>Hasn’t played Halo 4 in well over two weeks
>Hated Reach as well
>Halo 3 was the last true Halo
>Has a 1.5+ K/D and is over SR-60
I’m not bad at the game, 343 just made design decisions completely contrary to what makes Halo freaking Halo. Things like weapon timing and map control are totally gone in Halo 4. I LOVE the gun play, I LOVE the tweaking of Sprint. I’m not a huge fan of AAs other than Jetpack and mobility stuff, but I can tollerate the game. What I hate MOST however, is how 343 has released to us a beta of a game, and won’t even tell us what or even if, they are planning to fix any of the three dozen smallish glitches that are killing this game.
And their mental process of removing literally 75% of our Custom and Forge options still baffles me. Campaign is what brought me to Halo, Matchmaking drew me inside the doorway with candy, and Customs and Forge are what tied me up in the basement forever…bad example.
People come for competative MM, but broing out with friends on Fat Man customs or Race maps was what kept us there, and that only existed to an extent in Reach, and it DOESN’T in 4. And 343 isn’t explaining why, or how they will fix it.
Thus, I believe Reach…to be the better game. Bloom was a mess, Armor Lock sucked. But at least you could remove or work around them, by picking a different playlist, or doing customs. This…this mess. It plays smoother than Reach but just feels so damn unfinished. I don’t know how else to describe it. Everything feels off somehow. The colors are too bright, the textures are messier than they should be. Even the color pallet seems off. I want my Spartan black and brick red, but he looks grey and pink. It feels like a beta in the extreme, and not like a finished product, reflecting majorly when talking about the broken File Browser, pathetic map design and pool, and a whopping 10 playlists.
Both are bad, but I would have to say Reach. Only by a little bit though,
Reach pissed me off, i played the multiplayer beta and nothing clicked, not sure why.Halo 3 was nothing compared to halo 1, i still love how the assault rifle shot, reacted, sounded, and its 60 round mag ensured there was a multi-kill in 1 clip.
Halo 4 pissed me off with the assault rifle, needed a higher rate of fire and larger mag…and more ammo, the DMR does piss me off simply due to it makes all other weapons pointless aside from the BR and assault rifle. Not to mention im tired of getting killed by it when i use a BR, i can shoot someone first and they will still win.Which forces me to use a weapon i dont like just to keep up.
Overall i will have to say i didnt like Halo:Reach the most, since Halo 4 can still be salvaged.
Halo 3 and 2 since when was Reach and 4 a Halo game?
Prefer Halo 4. I really hate Reach.
Halo 4 by far.
The story of halo reach didn’t make much sense until 343i rescued it. Bungie took little action in fixing the problems Reach had. Halo 4 is generally funner, storm rifle or plasma repeater? Storm rifle is better and funner to use. Although the DMR and boltshot and a few other things may need more balancing, it’s still fun and I can generally beat them.
Halo 4 by far.
I prefer Halo 4 over Reach IMO. The only thing that I don’t like about Halo 4 (Besides the balancing issues in MM) is how Custom Games and Forge pretty much got the “Short end of the stick” for Halo 4 which kind of kills the Halo 4 experience for me unfortunately…
Halo 4 by far. No doubt in my mind. More fun to me. I wouldn’t mind reach level bloom on the halo 4 DMR though. Gotta tone that gun down.

Dude, you SAID IT. Holy crap I feel like I wrote this myself! Haha. Well said man.
