Should've had double xp for Halo 3 instead

of having a super jackpot in a game that can’t even hold 90k at peak hours until Halo 4’s launch. I would still be on Halo 3 right now if it had double xp. I’m not coming back to Reach after Nov. 6th except for my Machinima.

And if you’re asking. Yes I hate Reach with a passion and luckly I only have to tolerate it for a week and 2 days.

Why so much hate for reach? Halo 3 was amazing to play and reach aswell… If you hate it so much, go play halo 3

This argument is so flawed.

Let’s not put a Jackpot on a game that can barely withhold 90k players, but put Double EXP back on a game that has only just managed to keep itself in last place of the LIVE Activity Charts (20th) while Reach is in sixth place.

If they would’ve put Double EXP on Halo 3 until Halo 4 launched, I can guarentee you for these last few days, Halo 3 would have a much bigger population right now then Reach. No one on my friends list plays Reach at all except maybe 2-3 people. The arguement isn’t flawed at all. Why try to make people play a game, that is so hated by the Halo community and isn’t even known as a Halo title when yet so many people enjoyed Halo 3 and would jump back on the moment they knew it would have Double EXP until launch? That’s what I’m getting at.

It would be more appropriate to support the more recent halo game. As much as I hate to side against you, more players will probably be playing Reach due to Sprint. Also, EXP and credits shouldnt matter at this point. Once halo 4 releases, this discussion will be a blast in the past.

If Halo 3 was so good compared to Reach, remind me why Reach has the bigger population?

agreed. halo 3 is superior to Reach. I’m still playing Halo 3 and it’s far more enjoyable than reach could ever hope to be.

Its funny how hes complaining about reach’s population when halo 3 barely has any left. The other day, probably around 3-4000 max online. Tried to play a few playlists, 0 population. 3 is done, and reach will soon be also once 4 is released.

Quick Tip: The population counter on Halo 3 has been incorrect for a long time.

lol why would the developers support Halo 3 with this instead of reach? Reach is the latest big game in the Halo franchise. No way would have a double xp weekend in Halo 3 made it’s population greater than Reach either. I love Halo 3 too but I stopped playing when Reach came out and I wouldn’t start playing again if it was a x10 xp weekend. Love it or hate it most people play the newest game and abandon the old regardless of which game is better.

This is just a “H3 is better than Reach” argument from the most silly angle yet!
