Shouldn't we want to play the game?

I was about to purchase the HCS pack, before doing so, I thought to myself.

“Why do you want to buy this”, and the only answers that came up is supporting the game, and not wanting to play the game. Why would I want to support a game where I’d rather spend 10 dollars than to grind out, and actually play. Doesn’t that say something about the state of the game in itself. I really want these items, but I don’t want to play the game to get them.

Does anyone else feel this way as well?

I desperately want to support the game, I purchased the Warzone req packs, and some merchandise. Although, I wanted to grind this out and after simply 3 games of warzone It’s no longer enjoyably. It’s a pain, and 10 dollars is my ticket out.

The way I feel about this isn’t right. Shouldn’t you want to play a game you support?

I’m curious as to what others think.

I want to play, I actually enjoy Warzone. But 80,000 is too much, I’ll stick to gold and silver. I’m after vehicles and weapons anyways, Armor and skins I have no use for.

I actually always entirely forget about the reqs system and don’t spawn things often, other than the occasional sniper. Funny thing is, I get angry at people using vehicles sometimes, forget I can spawn a rocket launcher or something, spawn with an AR with boosted vehicle damage instead. It’s all about the cosmetics for me.

When I first got the game I bought the $25 premium req pack as my support for not having to break up the player base via Paid Map DLC. But now I somewhat regret it due to the lack of maps especially in Warzone. And 2 of the 4 maps in BTB are atrocious for a whole host of reasons. If they don’t have some decent maps in the Dec DLC pack and fix the horrendous lighting in the BTB maps. People will not be playing this game in 3 months. I will. But a lot of people won’t be.

There’s a fine line between hating a video game because it isn’t fun for you, and caring enough about a video game that you want it to improve. Most video game forums these days have blurred that line.

Yeah, it’s kinda like an oxymoron.

You want to support a game, so you try to purchase things when you can, but by purchasing, it means you don’t want to play the game.
If you don’t want to play the game, why are you supporting it?
If you DON’T want to support it, you wouldn’t play, and therefore you’d rather the shortcut way of paying money… but then why would you want to give money to a game you don’t support?
