On the west coast. Constantly put on east coast servers. Pretty much always. Hows that fair and balanced lol server selection is needed. Game doesnt work at 100 ping.
I live literally on the coast in the west. Between Seattle server and cali server. Yet, vast majority of the time im put on east coast servers. Like what is this? Lol “competitive” game.
But cant add server selection because what? Low population? Thats not a reason. You have to live in Texas to play a functional version of this game. In my experience, other games arent like that? Also other game dont continually shove me on servers on the other side of the country. Im sure everyone would prefer playing on their optimal server then search on others if they cant find games. The servers have been really bad for a long time and this would at least help.
Reading all three posts, I’m guessing you’re talking about Halo Infinite? Region select has been available since the Winter update was released on 8 November?
There is no region selection in Halo Infinite. There is simply a toggle between local and expanded. Even if someone on West Coast U.S. puts it on Local, they will still get put on East Coast U.S. servers.
As a U.S. player, I often get put on worse servers when I select Local than when I select expanded. Halo Infinite needs an actual region selection like MCC has.
