Shoulder charge magnetism

The shoulder charge is really easy to dodge, but after the update I’ve been dodging people, watching them shoulder charge into the air and still they somehow get the hit on me. Shoulder charge is -Yoinking!- annoying already and I feel like it probably received a boost.

All it does is reward players for sprinting all over the map without caution because the first person they run into they automatically knock out their shields because of this rediculous system and now it’s even worse. Anybody else notice this?

The shoulder charge isn’t that great of an ability. It does the same amount of damage as a melee attack, and if timed correctly you can melee them as they hit you, meaning you would be equal on health. I’ve never received a charge that I felt had magnetism, nor delivered one. It’s really not hard to land, trusting the receiver doesn’t use thrusters.

It’s happened to me enough to where I made a post about it. It shoves you away from the other player so you can’t punch them, and you instead fly back with no shields.

Jumping before the opponent Spartan Charges you is extremely important if you want to land your melee. It also helps if you land a couple of cheeky shots in before committing to your melee so there’s less awkward confrontation afterwords.

Really? I can still counter the charge easily by a quick thrust to the other side or a jump. Even if they hit me, I can Melee them back if I do it at the right time.
