Master Chief Collection has 4000G’s! But does that mean I have to get achievements I’ve already gotten?
Will I be tormented by the “Speed Reader” and “That just happened” achievements again?
Or should I put in the MCC and find myself with almost 3000G’s instantly (Similar to Halo SA)
Don’t get me wrong! I love hard achievements that require both real skill and knowledge. (can not wait for LASO) But should we really work for achievements we got years ago? and what about armor and Halo 3 Recon?

I think the achievements should carry over, i don’t want to play the campaign over again just to get the achievements. I also think that our Halo 4 rank should carry over to the MCC.
Some achievements are different, some are new, some are returning, and some are not. You don’t re-unlock any achievements just because you’ve already done them on the old game.
I don’t wish for the achievements to carry over. It’s part of the experience and it shouldn’t be stripped from any person. It’ll ultimately be fun to work for those achievements we already had and the boat-loads of new achievements. If you’re going to consider it a chore to go for the achievements, I’d advise you to question how you wish to game; perhaps completionism or nostalgia isn’t what you want, in which case you probably shouldn’t be too worried about the achievements in the first place.
I don’t want anything to carry over, nor will it, to the best of my knowledge. Personally, I want to start fresh!
