Must be difficult seeing all the Coach Co-Op games, and I guess you’re against couch Co-Op being implemented as well if they get it working?
I mean, with Halo CE I completed the campaign Co-Op with atleast five different people who didn’t own the game.

Oh, Warcraft II would’ve driven up a frenzy with how many who didn’t own the game got to play the multiplayer for free, piggy backing on a single person owning the game.
Ps. I bought the Halo 2 Multiplayer DLC disc for myself, then lended it to my nephews so they too could get access to the new maps.

since my first post if you look up i make a funny sarcasm what maybe is comming next since what he is going to try to make something else free since he not wane pay for it.

if there was a system like that in the past in the halo serie’s then there most have a big good reason to remove something like that and never wane use it again for the campaign mode’s.

I dont see how this is suprising. You ahould buy the game if you want to play it. Gone are the days of sharing physical copys or split screening at your buddys house. Its 60 bucks for a pretty good campaign with a lot of replay value imo - so good investment if you like halo
not forget there is also a game pass he can buy and i think you only need to pay a few dollers a month for it to play game’s that have a 60+ price tag on then.
in the EU you pay 1 euro for the game pass that has game’s on it that have a price tag of 60+ euro’s so cheaper then that you cant get to play halo infinite campaign for 1 euro when you normal most pay 60 euro for it.
since halo 4 i have been following the game what more then normal.

so you make more a big problem when the solution is so easy that he only has to pay a few doller for the game pass and he can play the campaign from halo infinite much cheaper then you buy it from the store.
Every example you listed requires a person to have at least bought the full base game. None of those gmes listed offer access to paid content to free to play players. A more reasonable restriction with the examples you proved would be, if you own the base campaign then maybe you should be allowed to play the DLC’s without purchasing them as long as you understand that you will not earn any DLC or gear from it.
As for the PR angle. The multiplayer being Free to Play gave this game a bad PR, so why would making the campaign free for some and not others be a good spin? I don’t understand the logic.
I also do not understand Savior’s request fully either since this game is not expensive nor hard to obtain. As many have already pointed out the $1 entry fee.

Except Starcraft 2 which made a free Arcade “version” which was free to play and functioned in the same way where that edition was upgraded to the newest expansion available in the party.
And these are somewhat concurrent examples of games where something is free for the players as long as the host owns it…

Myes, allowing Halo fans to invite friends in to Halo Infinite to play the campaign and not jump into a Multiplayer match is a completely bad PR move equal to that of making Multiplayer free to play. Because multiplayer certainly didn’t contain MTXs which to this day gets a ridiculous amount of new content in the store. It certainly had a lot of quality content on launch and decisions made regarding cosmetics weren’t done so for the sole purpose of selling cosmetics.
I rarely question reasons as to why someone suggest something, because I want to work with the suggestion.

Split screen was always Halo’s best marketing tool. Ask halo players what their first halo experience was and the most common response will be playing with a friend.
Since split screen co-op is shelved, a good alternative would be to find some way to allow campaign play with friends that don’t own the game. That could look a thousand different ways, but I can definitely see this idea helping the population grow and even bring in more campaign sales.
how can this bring up more campaign mode sale’s if there add the campaign mode all in the xbox game pass that only cost 1 doller for 1 month help up to bring up more sale’s?
if you wane inporve the campaign mode sale’s there need to do first a lot off things to make it happing.
first: the campaign mode we have now is so compleet boring that if you compleet the first 14 missions you get compleet boring with notting to do at all after that.
same if you compleet all the mini side missions it gets compleet boring.
second: the campaign needs to have a long therm contant plan that make sure you not get bored after compleeting the 14 missions.
and for that there have been a lot off threads on the forum all with idea’s for the long therm.
then you have maybe chance that more people going to play the campaign.
but sadly what there need to do first is fix the multiplayer problems good so that it can get a better reputation.
the halo name it self most have a reputation fix.
and that most off all fix the playlist and contant flow problems.

what there have done wrong is to break the promice there have make with split screen Co-Op.

Absolutely that would help, but it doesn’t really help introduce new players to the game like a free co-op version would. I’m talking about a stripped down or demo version that allows co-op play. This would be significantly less effort than what your are suggesting.
The replies on this thread are mainly surface level/thoughtless replies. The OP may just be asking for campaign for free, but I think it’s deeper than that.
if there is a campaign demo version that is compleet free then it maybe can help.
is it then not fair that there only can play in the demo version the first mission and the second mission only and that its on normal difficulty only?
