Would you guys like a Halo 4 demo? Like a demo of the first level (since we already know the setting of the first mission but maybe cut it off so you don’t see the full ending cutscene of the first mission, plus there’s no prometheans in it so there’s no spoiling of the feeling of first fighting them), or a covenant only spartan ops mission perhaps? That’d be pretty good in my opinion. What do you guys think? Would you like it this? Or do you think you could stick it out a little over a month before you play Halo 4? Do you think a demo would ease the criticism of people who are uncomfortable with the games direction? Do you think that it would draw more players to the franchise?
Yeah im sure everybody would like a demo, but I think its too late for that. They will probably add a demo after the release.

There will probably definately be one post launch. But I was thinking maybe with enough support 343 might consider a demo before launch. Though I highly doubt it because they are very busy. And have plenty of things planned already for the days leading to the release.
to late for that, and I think I would rather not have a demo… I am seeing so many videos of gameplay from PAX that I want to save some surprises for when it launches.
I’d play the demo, but it’s waaaaaaaaay to late for a demo now. Maybe after launch like they did with Reach.
You can ask, but it most likely won’t happen seeing how the game is almost 1 month from being released! They might release a demo after it is out for people who have never played Halo and just want to try it out. 
You could ask for one but you won’t be getting one. If they had a beta or a demo planned for their marketing/development cycle we would have heard about it months ago.

I’m not sure how it’s too late because there have been game demos released just weeks before the release date, resident evil 6 demo was released just a few days ago and it’s gonna be released in 4 weeks time were as with halo 4 we still have 6 weeks. But im not sure how the demo situations work so it’s probably just depends on each game and company.

I want to keep it more suspenseful for when I actually put the game in my tray and play it for the first time.

Oh yeah there will definitely be one post launch at some point.
Also if you want to try and gather support to try and get one before launch I’d support that because honestly… who wouldn’t?

Other games get demos released a week or two before the offical game release, however, I think it takes a lot of time to get that together and it seems that that hasn’t been a focus for 343 right now. So, I doubt it will happen.
