It is in my oppinion, and the oppinion of others that voting should be added to playlists with multiple variations of said playlists gametype. I have had to many experiences where I want to play swat BRs, and end up playing 5 matches in a row of swatnums, easily on of the worst gamemodes in my oppinion.
voting lets a majority decide what is good, and shows 343 what players are actually interested in. It worked great in halo 4, and reach, it will work great here.
EDIT: Even a veto system would suffice, similar to the one in reach, im just so suck of swatnums
I didn’t work great in older games. It ensured that half the maps never got played, and that you’d always get the game type you wanted as long you always wanted slayer.
Voting is only relevant if the developer ships the game with garbage maps, which really doesn’t seem to be the case here, imo.

The vote wouldnt have to be for gametype and map. The map would be selected prior to voting, then players pick the gametype.
and if its a majority vote, it means a majority wanted slayer, which dictates which gametypes are played most often
Edit: to clarify, im talking about subgametypes in playlists. If I chose swat, I expect to play swat, not swatnums. A vote, or sub gametype category can avoid playing a gametype a majority of players dont like 5 rounds in a row
I believe they should bring back Vote skip, not vote for which map. Just like Halo 3. If you do skip the map it should be completely random, you will have no clue what will be the next map and game mode (If you are playing arena).
