There are multiple kinds of vpns. Some are for security. Others for unblocking restricted content. They can also be used to do the opposite block certain content. Most of those are privately hosted through a open source VPN.
If someone from China can unblock a server someone from America can definitely block a server it’s not that difficult.

If it’s not that difficult then why are toruanemt games being run right now? If I was competing and knew it was that easy I wouldn’t trust my game being fair
Because it can be done with any online game. The only way to not have it possibly is lan tournaments which would upset the covid police.

I’m sorry but the “it was 1 person” nonsense is a nonstarter for me. Its supposed to be a team no? Then the entire team should face the consequences. He gets banned until January? Are you kidding me? His team should get rid of him, immediately. Cheaters should be treated like the pieces of crap that they are, and with high profile ones it should be treated with extreme prejudice.
This is 1 more reason why HCS is hot garbage.
