I can’t even begin to describe how many times i’ve tried to pick someone up in a warthog who has the flag and they continue to pass by me. In all of my efforts to get him into the car they still avoid me and i usually end up getting killed or the flag carrier gets killed
So shouldn’t there be an automatic car ride feature? Like instead of the person having to hold down X they just jump in, and the driver and whoever else is in the car gets points for protecting the flag carrier
I have to disagree. That’s just forcing them to get in, which will only annoy them and discourage playing the gametype properly.

I agree with this. You just can’t make someone do something like that. Let them walk and get killed and maybe they will regret not taking the ride,and will actually do so next time.
Sorry op. Have to agree with the comment above. I know what you mean though. It does suck when they don’t get in. The most annoying thing to happen
I know you mean well, I’ve had this happen where obviously you want to get that flag as far from the enemy as possible.
The problem with a automatic seating with the flag could do more damage than good. There are times where getting in that worthog or goose is a death sentence.
yeah OP that would make the game less competitive…
seriously though, are people really against this? im assuming OP means how it is with the flag, where you have to be literally touching the passenger seat. I’m so baffled by the comments above me.

But that’s not as annoying as having sneaked your way past the opposition or killed several of them (on a frenzy) grabbed the flag, got in/on a Hog/Mongoose, only to then be driven off the nearest cliff, or into the whole of opposition team. Just for kicks and giggles.
I could already see -Yoinks!- getting in the warhog. Driving up and forcing the player to get in, then driving off a cliff.

My thoughts exactly. This would be a well intended change, but would ultimately be abused and cause more harm.
No the amount of trolling that could be done is too tremendous.
That’s what talking to your teammates is for.
