If either weapon is in the game, it’ll be the Battle Rifle. The DMR is used by the UNSC Army, while the Battle Rifle is used by the Marines.

No, this is ignorance. These threads are really quite annoying.
My personal opinion is that the BR is better than the DMR, when the DMR has bloom it’s too random and when it doesn’t have bloom it’s way too easy, I would rather just have the BR and it would save allot of trouble… (Like I said, this is my personal opinion so don’t flame me.)

Stick to the canon, BR is the navy’s weapon, DMR is the army’s weapon. Chief is in the navy, do the math.

Nah, just give me the CE Pistol, faster strafing speed (CE/Halo 2 style), and bring back bullet leading with dedicated services instead of hitscan and it’s golden.

Thats absolutely redundant, we’re not trying to be CoD and have 45,000 guns that are essentially the same thing.
both and by that i mean the halo 2 br one shot while scoped in 3 round burst while unscoped it would please both sides of this never ending battle
Why would they ever put the DMR in the sequel to Halo 3? That’d be stupid. BR all the way.
