If they do what should happen?
Save them for another Halo game.
Keep the focus on chief.
Idc what happens, but they should definitely make an appearance.
Not 'til Halo 5 or 6 though.
They should appear at some point in the trilogy but not in Halo 4. It wouldn’t make sense, unless they were on the infinity, to randomly appear on requiem.
Yes they do. They’ve been a major part of the Haloverse for years and need some in game recognition. If they don’t appear in Halo 4 then they should at least be in Halo 5. Maybe a cameo at the end of 4 or something.
bring them out of the shadows
show those who truly are m.i.a and Halsey’s creation “Linda” she was killed on Reach and was revived near onyx
Maybe for Halo 6, after all the character fleshing out has taken place for Chief and Cortana, that way they won’t steal the show so to speak.
Also that way it could also be epic like maybe at the end there is some humongous mission requiring all the Spartans and maybe even the Arbiter (He has to comeback!!)
I think Blue Team should return sometime after the midpoint of the game.

if I was the writer…
As soon as the fighting’s over, John, Kelly, and Linda have their own ‘reunion’ in John’s quarters, while Fred laments that he is forever alone.
Be glad I don’t write Halo.
Yes, it’s one of the only ways I can think of doing co-op.
Team up with John and have an adventure!
They can show up, as long as the spotlight is still on the Chief
if they do towards the end of 4 or beginning of 5
I want them in the trilogy at some point, but I’m worried that if they appear in Halo 4 they might detract from the main story - which, after all, is setting up the events for a new trilogy. It makes sense to slowly escalate the stakes by first introducing the new enemy in Halo 4 and then making it get personal for Master Chief in Halo 5/6 by bringing back Blue Team.
Have an emotional reunion with Master Chief and Blue Team in Halo 5, have Blue Team show off what a badass team of Spartans can do, and generally make the player connect and empathize with Blue Team.
Then, in Halo 6, kill them off one by one. One of the rules of harnessing player emotions in video games - when you introduce a character who players like and sympathize with, killing them off will be an effective way of driving the story onwards and getting players more personally involved.
Yes!
I would say yes but to do so in a way that doesn’t confuse people who don’t know who they are. It might be difficult to write them in so that people who know and love them would be happy, but also people who have no idea who they are wouldn’t feel like they’re stupid for not knowing everything about the halo universe.

If they do happen to appear in the trilogy, I hope we get to have Squad command like in Republic Commando.
Not in Halo 4 but perhaps in later instalments.
