Didn’t they already do this for part of Fall of Reach?
Only partially.
They left A LOT of content out of the chapters that they covered and left out the entire other 2/3 of the book out.
Probably because of all the continuity problems that Reach the game created for the novel.
What space battle?
I was hoping they’d make films based of them
If it’s animated, then I say sure. Finding a group of 6ft+ tall actors to play spartans/elites/brutes would be no easy feat. Add to the fact that you can do way more with animation vs. live action. If they can find a group of producers like how Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are to Star Wars, then I’ll give that a hell yes.
The only worry I have are producers that try to sprinkle too much ‘pizazz’ when and where they don’t need to. If they can get people who respect the lore and text, then I see it as a way to create more buzz for the Halo franchise. Perhaps so much buzz that it can get close or exceed (unlikely, cuz Disney) a franchise like Star Wars.
Edit: Hell I’d be more inclined to subscribe to Paramount+
Aliens, ships, machinery and equipment of animation effects will spend a lot of money.
Animated films might be a good choice. After all the classic characters of casting is always hard to make most people satisfied.
I could easily see them going with animated motion comics, like with what they did for a few of the Halo Evolutions stories.
Headhunters was my favorite because not only was it a motion comic, but they had some cell-shaded 3D animation that blended seamlessly in the motion-comic’s coloring and style which caught me off guard for the fight scene it had.
If the books were translated into motion comics like they did for Halo Headhunters, it would be PERFECT in my opinion.
