I would like to see the next halo mutiplayer to go back to classic halo when everyone start with the same gun(BR/DMR/AR) and there are power up(over shield/active camo…etc)and power weapons on the map. No load outs,No ordnance as power ups and power weapons are on the map,no sprint.
Has i think that halo 4 is an arcade shooter you get points for everything and their is no challenge has you could have the lowest kills in the game but yet be at the top of the leader bored because you have more points. In past halo games there was no points it was all about kills (the arena shooter) i would like halo to go back to that.
I still play halo 4 because i do have fun in it but i would like the next halo to go back to classic halo so we can get the population back up. I don’t think halo 4 can be fixed has the playlist are a mess, there is no playlist that has ALL dlc and ALL game types.
Would anyone like to see this or have any other ideas that can make the population back up in halo an to make halo better the future games?
Work properly from the release date and come with regional and skill filters that work. And for the love of all that is holy, a better network then Halo 4, which with dedicated servers will be an absolute surety.
Should have most if not all of the gametypes Halo fans have come to enjoy. ie Classic, Big Team Objective, Alpha Zombies etc etc.
If these basics are followed, Halo 5 will be a well populated, successful game with longevity and re-playability. If the next game is released in the state that Halo 4 was, serious harm will have been done to the Halo franchise and frankly, someone (or someones) need to lose their job/jobs.
Welcome to the club ross. Competitive minded players have been wanting this since the release of Halo Reach. I sincerely hope Halo 5’s multiplayer will have a competitive attitude and a high skillgap, otherwise it will be a rental for me. You know, just for the campaign.
i know i play halo competitive but don’t go to tournaments as i live in Scotland and there is none in Scotland which sucks. I just wish 343 would look at the stuff we want like no sprint, descoping…etc instead of a new game type and weapon skins but lets just hope halo can gets repopulated. I mean modders have found away to get no sprint and descoping but i guess we can only hope.
They need to build off halo 3 just bring a few maps from halo 3 like the pit, guardian, and blackout maybe snowbound and than make new maps built for no sprint. Also turn the br from halo 3 to hitscan were bullets hit instantly. THAN THERE GAME WILL BE GOOD.
We also need 1-50 ranks for ranked playlist like rumble pit or lone wolves and the rest for teams use divisions and create a solo throwdown where u can only que up by yourself and it used 1-50 ranks while the others u half to que up with teams.

Now thats just rude. Nobody should lose their job just because they didnt do well the first time around. And besides, i think they did a pretty good job.

Everybody deserves a second chance, but if 343 drops the ball a second time, then those responsible did not learn from their mistakes.
Ideally, the next multiplayer iteration should see the return of the Ranked/Social divide.
That way competitive players can enjoy the more traditional classic style of play in Ranked and and the Infinity players can have their kick in Social which should be comprised of a majority of Infinity game types with a few classic game types as well for those who like the old school style of play in a non-competitive scenario.
It should also take the best features from its predecessors and base the game play mechanics of that.
That said however, I do not want to see Halo 4’s silly progression where you have to level up to earn weapons/perks whatever.
And if customizable loadouts do return, id like to see the removal of ‘perks’ or tac/support packages so the core game play mechanics aren’t altered to balance it and the only customization you get is the ability to choose a primary gun and its skin. Everything else is locked to map default or game default or whatever. This would only affect Infinity game types for obvious reasons.
There’s a lot more Id like to see return, but essentially a push for a more classic multiplayer experience with the ability to tweak it properly so players can recreate their Halo 4 experience without the other players expense is what id like to see.
I left Reach after only six months, but I came back a few days ago to try out the Anniversary map pack and dang, it’s so much more fun than anything else in Reach or Halo 4. If only it had more than 3 maps and more diverse game modes, I’d never play anything else.
