As a huge audiophile, many music enthusiast are now moving towards FLAC audio. Anyone who’s listened to FLAC audio compared to MP3 can agree its a breath of fresh air. FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Coded, simply meaning the track doesn’t lose any quality in music when its compressed into a digital file, unlike MP3 where it does. If the music in Halo 5 was to be played at CD quality (16 bit, 44.1 khz) or hell even a step up at DVD quality (16 bit, 48 khz) it would make the music sound better than ever. With blu ray disks for Xbox One, it can hold uncompressed audio, and would make the Halo experience on Xbox One very immersive. Hell if theres room on the disk, make the weapon sounds (or all the audio) in Halo 5 at CD quality, it would make Halo 5 sound phenomenal, especially if you have gaming headphones!

That would be very good, but with some of that awful music in Halo 4 it wasn’t playing anyway half the time haha.

I’d like it.

After downloading some of my favourite albums in FLAC format I wholeheartedly agree. It would be amazing if the atmosphere is top notch along with the soundtrack, that would be perfect.
