Up until Halo Reach the Spartan Laser was my favorite weapon. I really hope its in Halo 4.
Yes, it or something similar to it should definitely return in Halo 4. I absolutely love that weapon and it would be a shame if it were to stay out of Halo 4’s sandbox.
It is probably one of the best weapon additions to Halo. Not only is it devastating when you use it properly, is is also a support weapon that helps teammates out.

Well, Chief uses a Grenade Launcher type weapon in the announcement trailer so I guess that answers your question.

halo is the first game to make the grenade launcher need skill to use.
It should be, it has been in use for the unsc for the entire human-covenant war, even though reach is the only game we were able to use it, and it requires skill to utilize.

It’s one of my favorite weapons. I hope it makes a comeback alongside the Brute Shot and Concussion Rifle.
