Yes they should be brought back, but made much more terrifying.

And hopefully the flood will be more like the shaping sickness described in Halo Primordium.

i kinda felt like the flood could have their own game after watching the mona lisa series kinda like odst but have you be a marine on that ship but after posting this idea on b.net i got flamed by people saying HURR DURR DEADSPACE but then again some people liked the idea. OT: yes i think they should come back

It isn’t a Halo game without an unexpected change in underwear every now and then.

Yes and hopefully in their full primordial glory, the flood is so much worse than any necromorph or zombie from any game, Halo just never really portrayed them in their full potential, but It will change in Halo 4… hopefully.

That depends on which direction 343i want to take from a story perspective. Personally, I have some unfinished business with them and would like a whole slew of new forms to shoot out instead of the old and hated ones.

In the books there are so many different variations of flood it’s unreal, for every different species there are in a world, the flood out number them 3 to 1 in various variations of forms, population span and intelligence. The flood will be back and hopefully revamped this time.
