Should 343 Industries make The Academy map into a Grifball court in Halo Infinite?
Generalkidd has a YT video of “Halo Infinite Has An Extra Secret Map You Can Play On” that shows off The Academy.
It’s nice and square and the existing elements (i.e., trucks, stairs, lamp posts) would add some interesting game mechanics
What’s everyone’s thoughts on The Academy being a Grifball map?
Grifball won’t be added until Forge. And then people can make whatever arenas they want to make for the gametype. So hope you don’t mind waiting at least 6 months.
I could see that happening if grift ball was made playable thru fracture before forge. The current fracture ends in February. Which is near when the 1st season was originally supposed to end. There is a lot of talk about tactical slayer. So if that is the next fracture it will probably be in season 2 when co OP is launched. Then it really only makes since to launch griffball in season 3 with the forge. Either way my money is on the academy is a forgable map
