Here are the Top 5 weapons that kill me the most in slayer:
DMR (1,505 deaths) (3,258 kills with it)
Melee (423 deaths) (488 kills)

WTF? now I know I get stuck A LOT, to the point where it’s enraging, and I don’t even rush (uh look at those kill figures with DMR/Snipes) people up close in CQC preferring to dance around with AR’s and what not. I never pick the shotgun or scatter shot for ordinance–that’s how much I shy away from CQC. But according to these numbers I’m killed with plasma’s more than I’m freakin’ sniped. And that’s just laughable.
What’s especially maddening is knowing that I’ve dodged a sticky, but that it somehow pulled a 180 degree turn in mid-air and found my shoulder. Seriously?
I think loadouts was the worst idea ever. And this is coming from someone who’d have to do some serious adjusting (I use thruster pack religiously) without them. But being able to start a game with a 1sk weapon (boltshot) or start a BTB game with a plasma pistol (forget using vehicles, I don’t) or start any game with stickies is just stupid.
Plasma’s should stay, but you only get one. Ive found when I get stuck (and I tend to fight in close quarters) they’ll miss the first throw then I’ll take their shields down then they will stick me with their second grenade and kill both of us.
What does that acomplish? Nothing.
We should also get three Pulse grnades since there so weak unless your a beast with them.
The boltshots gonna get nurfed anyway, and with only one plasma your vehicle will stand much more of a chance after getting emp’d.
Agree, reduce plasma to 1 and increase pulse to 2. I for one always stick when in a close combat. Think I masterd plasma as the first weapon, have to check…
Reducing them from 2 to 1 sounds reasonable but the magnetism has to come down. If i bothered to look i’d wager half the times I’ve died the nade wasn’t even close to me. Not to mention how often i kill someone and walk away only to explode 5 secs later. Um, no. I killed the kid–he never stuck me.
This game is so noob friendly, no wonder nobody plays it.
I think it’s okay to keep stickies in loadouts, but the magnetism should be lowered. It is way too easy to stick in H4 and many times I’ve watched the deathcam and see me evade the sticky, only for it to magnetize to my foot or my arm.
I wish there was an even more negative word for no, because that’s what I would be posting right now. Every single time I melee someone in regicide, I’ll have one of those mother -Yoinking!- pieces of -Yoink- on my -Yoinking!- face! -Yoink-!
You shouldn’t be able to start off with stickies, with Plasma Pistol and Stickies as a start-off, it makes pretty much all vehicles completely useless.
No, they shouldn’t. Stickies have ruined CQC for me. I typically shoot and then melee an opponent, but 90% of the time I get stuck.
Plasma Grenades in loadouts are a cheap way for people with no sense of awareness and can’t fight in CQC to get a desperate kill.
I swear the aim assist on those things is ridiculous. The direction in which a PG is thrown, and where it lands, are completely different. I re-watch games in theatre and shake my head at the ridiculousness on display.
