Lol head becomes new oddball. I think its funny, people taking this too seriously.
I dont mind the Forerunner guns making bodies disintegrate in yellow ashes in Multiplayer. Death animations are cool. It beats the dollar bill explosion when ppl die in COD.
> its funny there are all these no’s when in CE you could shoot heads, arms, and guts off of flood but now its too gory
The flood graphics were so bad you could barely tell what you were looking at. There’s also a difference between having this happen to enemies and having this happen to players.
Zombies in culture seem to be magicially exempt from any problems with gore.

It would be interesting. I too was asking for more gore, ie: arms/legs/other body parts falling off after taking a killing blow with a sniper or shotgun. But, you have to think canonically. The Spartans are augmented to have a virtually invincible skeleton and other inner body frame stuff (see: Fall of Reach, other website articles about Spartan Augmentation). So, really, it wouldn’t make much sense for a Spartan super soldier’s limbs/head to fly off when their inner structure is invincible. But, I would’ve liked to see limbs/heads fly off of Covenant troops when taking powerful damaging blows. Like in Halo: The Flood, that Marine from the UNSC Pillar of Autumn shot an Elite in the head and it described the kill with the Elite’s head practically exploding from the shot entering his head. So, Spartans with limbs/heads flying off: no. Covenant with limbs/heads flying off: yes.
