Should spartan charge & ground pound be in Halo 6?

Do you guys think spartan charge and ground pound should be in Halo 6? Honestly, I dont think spartan charge should have been added. Its an unneeded buff to melee and can score cheap kills especially with its knockback ability. I dont think ground pound is all that bad and can be good for parkour but it seems like this ability causes a lot of the maps to be made very vertically. I dont know, maybe these abilities do help gameplay in some way but im just not seeing it. Thats why im asking you guys. What do you think?

For me I like the ground pound and Spartan charge. Sometimes I get annoyed with the Spartan charge but I wouldn’t mind having them in halo 6.

Spartan Charge no, Ground Pound yes, Spartan Charge as you have stated is just cheap, but Ground Pound is a pretty good mechanic, 1. Promotes being aware of your surroundings 2.You actually need to know what you’re doing in order to get a kill with it 3. Direct hits are the only way to one-shot with it. That is just my opinion though.

If they were going to take out abilities, they should definitely take out sprint and add FASTER base-speed so we can at least go at a decent pace, I’d actually really like that.

It’s simple don’t sprint, other than warzone maps, you can get around the maps at a pretty good pace by just walking, I’ve been doing it for a while (Yes I know I’m a mediocre player) and I’ve been feeling that getting around the map isn’t bad at all.

Spartan Charge is bad and should be removed.

Halo 5 maps are anything but vertical though, and ground pound does take some effort to land. Don’t really care about it either way.

I think both should be in. Spartan Charge is easy to counter and not as noob friendly as people make it seem (if it were so noob friendly I wouldn’t miss with it half the time I use it). Ground pound is fine too.

I find it funny that the “awareness” argument is always thrown out by the Halo elitists in why the old style games worked so well. I find it funny because using the same skill makes this annoying Spartan Charge a lot less annoying.

if ground pound had a little less magnetism I think it would be a highly skilled move because its risk vs reward. It also helps with movement flow and other things (if you get a maximum times stabilise and ground pound you can actually get a second thrust in). Spartan charge however is terrible, I’m not going to state why unless people really want me to but it is an abomination and almost as bad as armour lock (yep I said it).

Nothing can ever be as bad as Armor Lock. Not even close.

Spartan charge is actually a nerf to the default melee attack, which was required to balance out sprint. It needs to be taken out along with sprint.
Ground pound is incredibly cheesy, so even if it is a decent core mechanic it still needs to be taken out. Plus it takes you into 3rd person, which further destroys immersion.
Either way, Halo 6 is probably going to be a near perfect clone of 5 regardless of what the consumers say.

As much as people dont want it to be sprint is probably here to stay. I do think however there should be a playlist that disable all the new abilities and makes it play like the old halos. They could easily just use the map remakes that many forgers have made. Theres pretty much a forge remake in halo 5 for every past halo map.

I was using hyperbole. I know armour lock is worse.

I have to disagree your opinion on the maps. Espicially when i look at maps like Coliseum or Riptide. Not all maps are vertical but many are

I can agree with you on that.

Agree with this.

I wish it was. Spartan charge prevents double beatdowns and gives the victim to a chance to retaliate or escape.
Also, what is “Fha”?

Spartan charge needs to be relegated to the depths of halo oblivion never to bee seen again. Seriously put it right beside armour lock and let’s never speak of it hence forth
ground pound I’m ok with only because it’s situational and really makes you a giant hovering target when paying against coordinated teams

Spartan Charge would be a nerf if it didn’t have superior lunge and target tracking.

Instead we’ve invented something even worse than double melees.
