Should REQS come back in halo 6? What do you think

So…?

Should they? I don’t know I have mixed feelings.

Will they? Of course they will.

I think that credit system will be better

No, I kinda don’t feel like leaving everything to RNG just to get something nice… Took me 60 something levels til I got a DMR certification, wasn’t fun having to rely on dead teammates in warzone for my favorite loadout weapon for so long.

I’d rather Reach’s credit system, while the best armors are locked behind difficult challenges.

Should they? Absolutely not (sad money grab)
Are they going to be? Absolutely.

True, but REQs has meant we can have free DLC to the entire community instead of splitting it. Though I agree, I preferred the credit system. With so many Armour varieties, it’s hard to get exactly what you want. Daily and Weekly challenges would make a nice addition as well.

I think that credit system can be better because you can make the famous “pay to win” and you have to play more and in the REQS if youre level one you can get a mithyc like a level 150 so what do you think?

REQs should come back, just not the exact same way as Halo 5.

No, but it’s 90% that they will since the make so much money. If they are to return though, keep the armors away from it. The req instance can still exist, I just want to earn my own armor.

I liked the credit system in Reach. There are other FPS’s that successfully allow each player to customize their Spartan, load out, and experience based on how they choose to play. COD has done this with it’s titles to great success in terms of quality player experience. Reach accomplished this in many ways as well. Sometimes, if it isn’t broken… Don’t fix it.

No, it shouldn’t. If Halo 6 comes without micro-transaction, that would be surprising.

Yes for weapons, no for armor, I want Helljumper to mean something, not show how much time and/or money I spent on the game post-launch.

No. REQs are easily the worst and laziest addition to this game. People should have to earn cosmetic items through accomplishment, not through RNG that only exists to line 343’s pockets. I think the REQ system ruined Warzone and stunted its potential. There’s nothing about the REQ system that is good or worth having and the only reason it will return in Halo 6 is so 343 can make money off of it.

YES and NO. I would really like the REQ system to be the way it is right now. Random vehicles and Power weapons to be used in Warzone creates a dynamic gameplay that I absolutely love right now. However I would like permanent unlocks to return back to the Halo Reach credit system (Save money and unlock armor that you actually want, not with REQ packs).

I like the req card system, accumulating a stock of weapons and gear to bring to battle, but i feel like it could use some improvements in terms of the shop.

In some concept art we see a bunch of different “supply caches” (instead of req packs), that all form about certain things. UNSC boxes for unsc gear, Oni boxes for oni vehicles/rare gear. The covenant cache, and another upgraded covenant cache. It’d be much nicer to see a bunch of caches in the next game, for example, instead of us randomly getting loadouts, give us special packs/caches for them, i’d like to see packs that specifically give you 3 loadout weapons for some points, or even better, packs/caches that give you a specific weapon for loadouts.

Example of my idea above^

Another thing i’d like, is random “cache” drops, so just by playing i can randomly get a “aerial unsc cache” or a “covenant infantry cache”.

Anyways, yea - i’d like reqs to come back.

I like the REQ system and would like to see it return, but with some tweaks:
-Have REQs, but follow a credit system to allow players to acquire what they want and choose how they spend their REQ points and not be burdened with having an inventory full of things they don’t like or use.
-Have some Arena modes that use REQs.
-Have modes that feature certain REQs (ex. Warthog racing, etc.).
-I can’t believe I’m saying this, but…fewer Armor variants in favor of deeper customization. There really ARE too many…
-Best armors locked behind combinations of Campaign AND multiplayer achievements.
-And… MORE BLUE TEAM!!!

I feel the req system would only be good for warzone stuff like power weapons, vehicles, boosts. Etc and RP and XP boosts. Everything else like armour, visors, emblems, stances, assassinations. Etc should be unlocked through a credit system or completing certain challenges or commendations and stuff like that

Yes, but not for cosmetic items. The cosmetic items should use the credit system from Reach. I doubt that will happen though considering it would require two currency types.
