Personally, I don’t find opening packs as an enjoyable means of obtaining armor pieces. As many have stated before, past Halo titles that rewarded the player through accomplishments/achievements granted a level of fulfillment in which Requisition packs personally do not provide. Admittedly, some may find opening these packs addicting, but honestly it’s an overly abused trend that doesn’t seem to be stopping any time soon.
To be honest, No. I like working for a specific milestone.
But if they do bring it back, well then i won’t get so angry.
If it pays for the free DLC that we’re getting I’m fine with REQs. I think they’re fun to open and give you something to work toward as well.
I really don’t like RNG being applied to most mechanics, the list of exceptions I have is pretty small.
I’d rather unlock armor and skins with a credit system similar to Reach, where I can simply buy the stuff I want and ignore the stuff I don’t want.
As for Warzone, I think it would be better off without the card system.
I think it adds depth and is the basis of Warzone. I guess it would be much better if we had to earn armor through achievements whereas Warzone would be the only place REQs matter other than boosts, maybe weapon skins.
I godda give Reach credit for its credit system. Felt much more satisfying for armor pieces.
I like it a fun way to get them. GOTTA CATCH THEM ALL
No. No, no, no, no, HELL NO!
Why??? Most people don’t like it because they don’t get good stuff.

I don’t like it because there is no working for a reward. There is no sense of “his armor is awesome, what did he do to unlock it?” “Bruh, he opened a pack and got lucky!” Fck that. I want to work for my Security armor, but I’ll probably never get it, because RNG is horsesht. 343 is taking Halo over a cliff with the Req system.
It would be better cosmetics are separate from REQ, you can unlock them from achievements, and weapons are REQ
Maybe…
I like the idea of earning armor sets from playing through the franchise and of course my addiction to the gamerscore achievements. As a new player to Halo I am liking the REQ packs, and yes it’s addicting. It is however an incentive not to quit out on warzone so it has it’s perks.
I like Req packs. Although it is based on RNG, it is still a fun way to unlock in game goodies.

I find the randomness better than a traditional unlock system, because with most unlock systems let the player pick and choose, to ignore the rest. You’ll find yourself using more different arnor with this system. I personally love bucaneer and the autumn visor, but the saturnine visor or a new chest may change my mind.
eh, Nah, req packs are unnecessary.
You should probably comeback to make this topic on about, say, a year if you want some solid opinions. Asking this so soon doesn’t make sense to me.
I miss unlocking them through achievments. Its basically the only reason im playing through the mcc legendary campaigns. Just so i can unlock helisokrill. I think the req are too similar to cod and the credit system was pretty good. I just dont care for most the Armour permutations. Reach had a good amount. There is just too much of the same ones with different skins. Armour skins sould be thier own customization like in reach. Also the cards really dont do much. I did get a cool silenced br though. So, its not all that bad.
If having the Req pack system in the game allows for the dlc maps to be free for everyone, then they are amazing!
i mean just look at Star Wars battlefront. 60$ game which looks barebones compared to the old battlefront games. Plus a month before release they announce 50$ dlc seasonal pass. (Which will fragment the player base).
343 will have done something awesome with REQ if it does provide us all with free updates!!
No, I’d rather earn armor and other unlocks through achievements, not go through a bunch of random items before I finally get something I like.
