It seems as if everyone and their mother joins these forums and then creates a poll asking some question that has already been asked, numerous times, and quite often with options that are biased, or don’t accurately represent all practical options.
What makes this bothersome is that it’s quite often brand new members that do this, but immediately after posting their poll they fade back into non-existence and don’t provide anything to the community. Instead of providing reasoning to their opinions they just pose the question (and their preferences) with their ill-conceived options.
I could try to ignore it, but they just keep popping up. Sometimes they are locked, sometimes they are not.
I don’t actually want them removed, but perhaps have them locked away until certain forum rank is reached…
P.S. The same idea as preventing new members from hyperlinking or having signatures until a milestone rank is reached.
This is like asking random people if freedom of speech should be illegal, it’s completely ironic and makes me wonder if this is just a joke. It’d be funnier if you yourself were an iron recruit.

I considered it. Making a new account just for this. It is a joke, of sorts.
However, I don’t see your relation to free speech. It would be identical to how new users cannot post hyperlinks, have sigs, etc until a certain rank is reached.

Well there are times when people get kind of rude towards people who have a certain opinion by making options that go against the OP’s preferences/opinions kind of negative or sarcastic in nature…
The recent “Should Halo 5 be on PC?” poll had a “No” and a kind of rudely phrased ‘Yes’ option. There are a lot of biased polls being made, like five options for Yes and one sarcastic one for No. It’s not a good reason to remove them no, but it’s a touch annoying seeing the heavily biased or even rude polls. Nothing that can be done about that though
