I like fire. Let’s go with that.

OT: No-- or at least, I sure hope not-- because these mods take advantage of capabilities that were already existing within the game, and since it’s in custom games, it does not in any way mess with competitive gaming. And these have already been around for a while anyway, so if they cared, it would have already been taken care of.

I use these myself, and if I get banned for for it…

Lolno.

However, if they use mods in matchmaking, that’s a different story entirely.

i want to hear the forum team and see what do they have to say

Depends.
Wewittle guy… Yes. If I played against him I would grow tired of being killed while looking around for Ants. However, if GiagantiSpartan. Head shot I win. So no ban.

I think if it doesn’t affect online play, I would allow it if I was 343.

You either will or can get banned as it is stated in the xbox live terms and conditions of you cheat or mod you can get banned.

Unless the developer allows it, kinda like what bungie did for halo 3 with the respawn mod etc.

They will never ban you for playing modded gametypes/maps, but they will ban you for making them. This has been happening since halo 3.

should derp be derpped for derping…? uh duh. Is this a derp question? In all seriousness, Yes. Yes, they should be derpped.

Not going to lie though. I laughed at “Big Spartan”

I never heard of legal modding before.

I would like an answer from the forum team as well. I want to make sure I’m not using* something that could get me banned or something like that.

*(Just USING. I don’t make this stuff.)

*Looks at mods for Skyrim, Fallout, etc. *

On PC. Xbox doesn’t have Steamworks, SDKs etc…

O/T: Yes, they should, and will be, hopefully.

I cannot believe you’re sticking up for people who cheat.

Permanently ban them.

Cheat? Inside customs it is cheating? seriously…
Modders do better job with some customs like disabling sprint, weapons on floods.

I don’t like you or people like you.

Modders can get around the limits set by 343 making custom games more fun.

If you are going to mod too give yourself an unfair advantage online, yes get banned and set on fire.

But if you want to mod the game to add skins, armor, levels, maps, etc. no you should not get banned and set on fire.
